Film festival closes in Renton this weekend

The Seattle South Asian Film Festival is closing their season out in Renton for the third year in a row with screenings Oct. 22-23 at Carco Theater.

The Seattle South Asian Film Festival is closing their season out in Renton for the third year in a row. There will be screenings Oct. 22-23 at Carco Theater.

Festivities include an awards ceremony and reception Oct. 23, as well as the screening of Indian film “Waiting,” featuring acclaimed actors Naseeruddin Shah and Kalki Koechlin.
