Driver improvement program offered June 9

This is a refresher course on defensive driving skills. Seniors can qualify for auto insurance discounts.

The AAA driver improvement program is offering a refresher course on defensive driving skills from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 9 at the Highlands Community Church, 3031 NE 10th St.

Following the completion of the course, drivers 55 years and older can qualify for auto insurance discounts.

The cost of the program is $18 per person.
