The city of Renton’s popular curb side clean up program is back, according to a media release on Aug. 14.

Republic Services will provide this free curb side pickup for single family residents from Sept. 1 through Dec. 29.

This is a one time opportunity for residents to have excess items picked up for no charge.

Customers can put up to 10 units of trash out for pickup. One unit equals a 32-gallon bag, box or sturdy garbage can. Two bulky items like mattresses, sofas and chairs will also be accepted.

Items must be clearly marked with “CL” and placed on the curb by 7 a.m. on your collection date.
