City seeks public input to update Trails and Bicycle Master Plan

First open house is scheduled for 6 p.m., June 27 at Renton Senior Activity Center.

The city of Renton is updating its 2009 Trails and Bicycle Master Plan and is asking Renton residents for their input.

There will be an open house where community members will be able to share what they think of how they bike, walk, run or horseback ride in the city, as well as give insight on how to improve bicycle routes, learn about safer, more comfortable bicycling facilities, suggest new walking and hiking trails, and ask questions about the plan.

There will be three open houses houses starting Tuesday, June 27.

  • 6 to 8 p.m., June 27, Renton Senior Activity Center, 211 Burnett Ave N.
  • 6 to 8 p.m., Sept. 28, Renton Community Center, 1715 SE Maple Valley Hwy
  • 6 to 8 p.m., Nov. 28, Renton Senior Activity Center, 211 Burnett Ave N.
