A Vancouver man’s truck was broken into Aug. 13 at the Quality Inn Motel at 1850 Maple Valley Highway, according to the Renton Police Department.

From 2:30-3:00 a.m. the man heard the car alarm of the vehicle next to his go off. He checked to make sure his car was locked remotely.

When he approached his car on his way to work that morning, he discovered the lock was punched into the door and several electronics were stolen, including a GPS, cordless drill, camera and lens.

The motel had security footage of the break-in.
