The City of Renton will hold an open house on Dec. 2 to offer information about the planned improvements to Rainier Avenue South.

The open house is 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the seventh floor Conferencing Center, Renton City Hall, 1055 S. Grady Way.

The project will improve traffic safety, transit mobility, pedestrian safety and enhance street lighting and landscaping on Rainier Avenue South between South/Southwest Grady Way and South Second Street.

Members from the design team and city staff representing the Public Works-Transportation Department will be on hand to explain the project and answer questions.
