Home rifled; nothing taken

A home in the 3700 block of Northeast 12th Street was broken into sometime on Nov. 6 and a filing cabinet, night stand and cooler were rummaged through, according to Renton Police.

Nothing appeared to be missing, the resident told police. The resident was told to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity on his accounts.

The resident had returned home to find the front door open and lights were on. According to police, entry was made by breaking a rear window; the carpet below the window was covered with muddy footprints.
