The Issaquah Chamber of Commerce is doing something about the employment shortage. It will host a free Eastside Job Fair, noon-5 p.m. Oct. 16 at Pickering Barn in Issaquah.

The Job Fair, presented by Zetec, will connect employers with prospective employees. Many businesses are expected to be represented, all under one roof, like Nintendo, Edward Jones, UPS and many more. Part-time, full-time, retail, service, labor, management and high tech companies have been invited to participate.

Job seekers should come prepared with a resume or ready to fill out a job application.

Resumes will be shared with all represented companies.

Pickering Barn is located in Issaquah across from Costco. Take exit No. 17 off I-90.
