The dog days are upon us.

According to the National Weather Service, it should be sunny and hot all weekend long.

The forecast for today, Saturday, calls for sunny skies with highs in the mid 80s and a slight wind, staying mostly clear through the night and dropping to an overnight low of about 57.

Sunday is even warmer with clear skies and temperatures getting into the low 90s. Sunday will stay mostly clear with an overnight low around 60.

Monday also should bring sunny skies and a high in the low 90s.
