Council to meet Monday for first time in 2014

The Renton City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday for its first meeting of 2014.

On the agenda is the swearing in of incumbents Randy Corman and Terri Briere and of new councilman Armondo Pavone.

Also on the agenda are proclamations for Human trafficking Awareness Day and National Mentoring Month.

In the consent agenda is the schedule establishing the city's process for developing and passing marijuana business regulations.

The Committee of the Whole meeting that usually precedes the council meeting is canceled for Monday.
