City council back in action Monday
After two weeks off, the Renton City Council gets back to business Monday night.
Up first is a pair of proclamations, first for National recovery Month and second for Diaper Need Awareness Week.
The council will also hear a special Fourth of July wrap-up presentation.
Also of interest is an ordinance for first reading calling for the decriminalization of alcohol consumption in parks, which is scheduled to be discussed at 5:30 p.m. during the Community Services Committee meeting.
Prior to the regular council meeting, the Committee of the Whole will meet at 6 p.m. in the council chambers to discuss alley-loaded lot requirements.
The regular meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m.
