REMINDER: It's not too late to sign up for Saturday's SIFF Crash Cinema event

The first-ever Seattle International Film Festival Crash Cinema in Renton is Saturday – and it’s not too late to sign up.

As of midweek, about a dozen filmmakers had signed up to participate in the day-long filmmaking event.

To sign up for the Renton – SIFF Crash Cinema, visit www.RentonFilmFrenzy.com. Or if really last-minute just show up at 9 a.m. at the Renton History Museum, 235 Mill Ave. S., where the five Crash elements will be chosen randomly.

The Renton Reporter will sponsor online People’s Choice voting at Rentonreporter.com starting next week to give everyone a chance to pick their favorite film.

Everyone who votes will automatically be entered in a drawing for a pass to the films SIFF is presenting in Renton this May.
