Man escapes unhurt when pickup truck goes into Green River in Tukwila

A man escaped unhurt when his pickup truck went into the Green River Monday morning near 42nd Avenue South and South 122nd Street, according to the Tukwila Police Department.

The Tukwila Police and Fire departments were  working to recover a pickup truck from the river at about 8:30 a.m.

"The driver was alone in the truck when it went into the river; he is out and uninjured," said Mike Murphy, a spokesman for the Tukwila Police Department.
