January 3, 2013 · 9:47 AM

The Renton community is being asked to give its input on a job description for the next school district superintendent.

Mary Alice Heuschel is leaving the superintendent’s position to become Gov. Jay Inslee’s chief of staff.

The Renton School District Board of Directors is soliciting feedback through an online survey to help with their candidate search. The district is working with Northwest Leadership Associates to develop a description and leadership profile.

The survey is 10 questions and asks for input on everything from strengths of the district to challenges of the district and sought after professional and personal qualifications for the next superintendent.

The survey is available on the district’s website.
