Friday night fire damages garage, shed in Skyway

An exterior garage and shed suffered about $50,000 damage in a fire Friday night in Skyway, according to King County Fire District 20.

The fire reported at about 9 p.m. in the 7600 block of South126th Street was determined to be accidental by the King County Sheriff Fire Investigation Unit, according to the fire district. Investigators determined the cause was a propane heater left unattended next to combustible material.

There were no injuries to firefighters or the public.  Renton Fire and Emergency Services responded to assist with fighting the fire.
