Next Renton library open house is Nov. 13

In its efforts to build and redesign two libraries in downtown and the Highlands, the City of Renton will host another open house meeting on Nov. 13.

The meeting, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in City Hall Council Chambers, will feature an engineering update on the renovation of the library in Liberty Park.

Officials will also discuss an update on the Highlands multiparty agreements and redevelopment.

Mark Gropper, executive director of Renton Housing Authority, will answer questions and Chip Vincent, city community and economic development administrator, will facilitate the discussion.

The next meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Dec. 11 at City Hall.
