Beware of offers to collect ballots, warns elections office; watch the tally

King County Elections has received reports of various groups offering to collect and return ballots as a service to voters.

The Elections department strongly discourages giving possession or responsibility of your ballot to anyone other than USPS or official King County Elections drop locations.

The activity of collecting ballots for delivery is not prohibited by law, according to King County elections.
