A police action in north Renton that led to three drug-related arrests drew a lot of attention during the Friday morning commute.

Renton Police SWAT officers served an arrest warrant at about 5:45 a.m. at a home near North Third Street and Garden Avenue North.

Three adults were arrested in a routine narcotics investigation and for other warrants, according to Terri Vickers, a spokeswoman for the Renton Police Department.

The location is in a high drug-trafficking area, she said, and the warrant was the "end result of an ongoing narcotics investigation."
