Driver rescued after car goes over embankment near downtown

A driver suffered minor injuries after driving over an embankment Thursday morning on Southwest Victoria Street near downtown, according to the Renton fire department.

Fire crews assisted the driver from the car and up a 20-foot embankment.

The driver was taken to a local hospital for observation.
