Renton Police seek witnesses to serious accident

A 69-year-old Olympia woman was seriously injured Monday afternoon when her car left Oakesdale Avenue Southwest and hit two trees, according to the Renton Police Department.

Renton Police reported the woman was northbound alone in her 2008 Mercedes in the 600 block of Oakesdale Avenue Southwest at about 3:15 p.m. when she swerved across all lanes of travel, crossed the curb, sidewalk, and lawn before striking two trees.

She was transported to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries.

Renton Police are asking any witnesses to this collision who have not already spoken with officers to contact Traffic Investigator Ralph Hyett at 425-430-7500, refer to case number 12-8905.
