Man, 51, falls to death in interior atrium of Tukwila hotel

A 51-year-old, Portland, Ore., man fell to his death from the eighth floor of the interior atrium of DoubleTree Suites on Southcenter Parkway at about 12:40 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Tukwila Police Department.

No one else was hurt, according to Mike Murphy, a police department spokesman. The man was a guest at the hotel.

There was no evidence of foul play but officers were on the scene investigating, he said.

The King County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the manner and cause of the man's death.
