Thunderbird hockey players to appear at Kent, Renton Fred Meyer stores

Players from the Seattle Thunderbirds hockey team will appear from 6-7 p.m. Jan. 26 at Fred Meyer stores in Kent and Renton.

Half of the team will appear at the Kent store on the East Hill, 10201 S.E. 240th St. The other half of the team will be at the Renton Fred Meyer,

17801 108th Ave. S.E.

The T-Birds will offer a ticket special to Fred Meyer customers for the Teddy Bear Toss game on Jan. 29 against the Portland Winterhawks.

Players also will sign autographs and be available for picture taking. Team mascot Cool Bird will make an appearance at one of the stores.
