Renton-based sculptor to host artist talk in Newcastle, Bellevue

Humaira Abid is leading a discussion on her work that focuses on the theme “Searching for Home.”

Humaira Abid, a sculptor from Renton, will hold a discussion on her solo show at the Bellevue Arts Museum at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16 at the Newcastle Library.

Her solo show, Searching for Home, focuses on the experiences of immigrants and refugee women.
