Renton Civic Theater announces 2009-2010 season

Renton Civic Theater will present six plays during its 2009-2010 Season of Spirits and Laughter.

RCT starts the new season in September with one of the most popular and successful musicals in recent memory, “Forever Plaid,” Sept 4-19. 

October will bring a ghost story, “The Women in Black,” Oct. 16-3. For the holidays RCT presents the trial of the century in “The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge,” Dec. 4-19. Alan Sherman’s comedy, “Footlight Frenzy,” will take the Renton stage Feb. 19-March 6, followed by one of Neil Simon’s greatest shows of all time, “Rumors,” April 9-24. 

Closing out the season RCT shakes up Shakespeare with a 1970s musical version of “The Two Gentleman of Verona,” June 25-July 11

Season tickets are on sale now; see all six shows for $118, a 20 percent discount off regular season price. Discounts for groups, seniors and students are available. Individual show tickets are $25 for musicals and $22 for plays.
