Youth symphony to perform March 23 in Maple Valley

Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra is presenting its ”Heavens and Earth” Concert on Friday, March 23, at 7 p.m. at Maple Valley Presbyterian Church.

This concert will feature the music of Gustav Holsts “The Planets.”  “The music is dramatic and exciting,” says Elisa Lewis, MVYSO’s executive director.  “It thrills me to me to hear how far our kids have come in their playing ability.  Their sound is fantastic!”

Maple Valley Presbyterian Church is located at 22659 Sweeny Road in Maple Valley.  For more information about the concert, visit www.mvyso.org or call 425-358-1640.  There is a $5 suggested donation for this concert.

The orchestra includes youth from throughout the region, including Renton.
