State recognizes Hazen, Lindbergh

Hazen and Lindbergh high schools have been recognized with Washington Achievement Awards for 2009.

Hazen received two awards for overall educational excellence and improved graduation rate. Lindbergh’s award was for improvements in language arts.

The schools are two of 174 in the state being recognized by the State Board and the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction for performance on state tests and graduation rates.
