Ryder Cup golfer Robert Karlsson will be sharing insights for improving golf skills at the Maplewood Golf Course for a fundraising, Dec. 12.

There will be an auction of Ryder Cup items to benefit Renton’s Sea of Stars Foundation.

A European golfer from Monaco and Sweden, Karlsson jumped from the 200th world-ranking spot to the top 10 spot in 2008.

An eye condition kept Karlsson off the tour most of the year. However, he’s improved and is back on the tour.

The audience will have the opportunity to participate in a clinic and ask Karlsson and coach Annchristine Lundstrom questions.

The event is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 4050 Maple Valley Highway, Renton.

Tickets are $50 before Dec. 4 or $75 after, mail to 1089 Lake WA Blvd. #401, Renton, WA 98056. For more information call 206-949-6843 or e-mail seaofstarsfoundation@gmail.com.
