Renton citizens asked to give support to families of murdered Lakewood police

The City of Renton police department is giving citizens the chance to show their support for families of the murdered Lakewood Police Officers Dec. 7.

Citizens are being asked to drop off messages and money at the Whistle Stop Ale House or The Rock pizzeria from 5-8 p.m.

City officials the police department will be there to receive the messages and support and then deliver them at the Tacoma memorial service Tuesday.

Donations may be made to "Lakewood Police Independent Guild."

The Rock is located at The Landing at 830 N. 10th St., Renton, and the Whistle Stop is located in downtown Renton at 809 S. 4th St.
