Everest College graduate honored by Evergreen Healthcare

Andrea Phillips recently received the annual Health Unit Coordinator Excellence Award at Evergreen Healthcare for her outstanding work in Evergreen Hospice. The Snohomish resident was honored for her work in the Hospice Center. She reorganized work stations to make the Center more efficient. as they say good bye to their loved ones.

Health unit coordinators are often described as the glue that holds the individual patient care departments together. The coordinators are the key staff person who knows where everything and everyone is, answers all questions while juggling telephone calls. Evergreen Healthcare honors the coordinators annually during National Health Unit Coordinator Week.

Phillips is a graduate of Everest College in Renton.
