WorkSource plans job fair for vets

WorkSource Seattle-King County is hosting a job fair Tuesday in Renton for jobseekers who are military veterans.

Dozens of employers with hundreds of job openings will be on hand to network with jobseekers. Although all jobseekers are welcome, employers are committed to hiring qualified veterans. WorkSource staff dedicated to veteran customers will also be present.

The time and location for the Renton Hire-A-Vet Resource and Job Fair is:

• Tuesday, Nov. 18, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.,at the Puget Sound Electrical Apprenticeship and Training Trust, 550 S.E. Seventh St., next to WorkSource Renton.

In addition to jobs, this event also highlights a wide range of resources for veterans, including small business ownership, apprenticeships and counseling. Space for the event is limited: Preregister by Nov. 12 by e-mailing your name to worksource@kingcounty.gov.
