More people are using the services offered by Renton Salvation Army, but donations have decreased. The Renton organization needs cash, nonperishable foods, toys and time spent ringing bells this holiday season.

Here’s how to help during this holiday season:

• Be part of the “Adopt-A-Family” program, open to individuals and businesses.

• Sponsor a “Giving Tree” at your business, church or club.

• Be part of the Christmas bell-ringing campaign. Businesses can sponsor a site or volunteer to ring the bell and bring some Christmas cheer.

To help, call the Salvation Army Renton Rotary Food Bank at 425-255-5969. The food bank is at 206 S. Tobin St.
