Area wrestlers to raise money for Taking Down Pancreatic Cancer

Hazen and Highline high schools are hosting the second annual Taking Down Pancreatic Cancer event Friday, Jan. 11.
The goal is to spread an awareness of the fourth-leading cause of cancer-related deaths, while also raising money to go toward pancreatic cancer research.
Participating teams include Hazen, Highline, Oak Harbor and Lynnwood.
The competition will be a wrestling double-dual format. The first round will consist of Highline vs. Lynnwood and Hazen vs. Oak Harbor, while the second round will be Highline vs. Oak Harbor and Hazen vs. Lynnwood.
Competition will begin at 5 p.m.; doors will open at 4 p.m. Proceeds will be donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
Highline High School is at 225 S. 152nd St., Burien.
