University of Phoenix Western Washington Campus hosts 'Operation Thank You

The University of Phoenix Western Washington Campus will host "Operation Thank You," a military appreciation day that will honor all those who have served in uniform.
The free event on Sept. 15 will offer attendees service-to-career workshops, a cell phone drive for soldiers, a barbecue lunch and live entertainment. Attendees are encouraged to bring their families, and can register at www.opthankyou.eventbrite.com.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on campus, 1126 Pacific Ave., Suite 100, Tacoma.

"This event provides an opportunity for families to enjoy Military Appreciation Day together, while also learning more about education opportunities offered by the University in a fun environment."
