King County and the Cedar River Council will hold an open house in Maple Valley Tuesday, Nov. 15, to meet with area residents, recreationists and others who are interested in the future of the Cedar River.

The meeting is 6-8:30 p.m. at the Lake Wilderness Lodge, 22500 S.E. 248th St., Maple Valley and will include presentations, a question-and-answer session and opportunities for citizens to have one-on-one discussion with county staff.

Mark Isaacson, director of the King County Water and Land Resources Division, will present the county’s short- and long-term goals for a safer and healthier Cedar River, and the potential changes that river users and neighbors can expect.
