Beach naturalists again needed this summer throughout county

The Seattle Aquarium is again seeking volunteer beach naturalists to answer questions at beaches in King County this summer. Naturalists will attend a program orientation on Tuesday, March 13, and receive training from marine and interpretative experts on five weekday evenings and three weekend days in March, April and May.

$13.1 million available to provide housing

More than 500 low-income, homeless households will move into stable housing or receive the services to maintain their housing with the help of $13.1 million in funding announced by King County. The money is the result of a coordinated effort by King County, the City of Seattle, United Way of King County, the Seattle Housing Authority and Building Changes.
