Valley Medical Center opens two pharmacies

Two new pharmacies on the Valley Medical Center are now available to fill prescriptions right on the campus.
Valley Medical relocated its Prescription Pad pharmacy to the Valley Professional Center North building just off Talbot Road South. The Prescription Pad North Campus offers prescription medications, over the counter remedies, durable medical equipment, and medication counseling – and has drive-up window access.
The second pharmacy is adjacent to the ER and main hospital entrance. Prescription Pad South Campus will offer the same services as the North Campus pharmacy, but with extended weekend and late night hours to better accommodate ER patients.
“At Valley we are continually striving to find new ways to give our patients quality service,” said Paul Hayes, executive vice president, Valley Medical Center. “By opening two Prescription Pad Pharmacies in strategic locations across the campus, it will be much easier for our patients to fill prescriptions and receive other pharmacy services.”
Valley Medical Center will host a Community Open House on Sunday, July 24, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Prescription Pad South Campus.
The hours at the north pharmacy are 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Friday. The south campus pharmacy hours are 8 a.m.-2 a.m. seven days a week.
